    Position Overview

    This position is located in Chesterfield, Mo

    The Program Manager will oversee software engineering and NPD support teams in agile project execution and phase-gate product delivery. Responsible for planning / driving / managing the technical, timing and cost elements of development projects while being the primary interface between customer and the internal engineering, manufacturing, quality and supply chain teams.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate a multi-functional core team from Concept through Commercialization; develop cost analysis, create and manage the integration of project schedules and budgets, track progress and update stakeholders on status.
    • Identify and help to resolve resource allocation issues and priorities to ensure the program is staffed appropriately, completed on time, and within budget constraints. Drive communication plan to execution.
    • Facilitate meetings and Design Reviews, take minutes and follow up on routine action items with assigned owners.
    • Maintain project risk tracking spreadsheets/slides
    • Reconcile budgets and monthly spending reports, identify discrepancies and support Core Team re-planning as needed
    • Document and track compliance to customer’s requirements
    • Drive towards rapid identification and resolution of any cost, timing, manufacturing, supply base etc. related issues
    • Work with Business Stakeholders to ensure that customer requirements are clearly defined
    • Standardize project management tools, techniques and best practices. Make improvements as needed.




     Specific Skills/Abilities  

    The position requires

    • Excellent project management skills, including meeting facilitation, minute taking and distribution, follow up, problem resolution, accountability for work product and final outcomes.
    • Proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving
    • Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
    • Experience with Agile methodologies including story writing and backlog grooming
    • Effectively manage issues and conflicts as they arise
    • Ability to thrive within a matrix organization
    • Desire to develop, implement and improve process disciplines


    • Bachelor degree in a technical field, advanced technical degree and/or MBA desired
    • 10 or more years managing product development projects
    • Experience managing an agile software development process
    • PMP, PMI-ACP Certification or demonstrated competency in managing complex projects
